Hey mom and dad this is you favorite son elder hall. How is everything? I am doin pretty well. I have been feeling really sick this week. I am so sick of it cause it really interferes with the work. I dont know why i am sick either so i dont know how to fix it or what to do. When you are sick it is impossible to feel the spirit so i hope soon i will start feeling better.
Well my life is great besides being sick. I am having tons of fun and always loving the work. It is so cool to see all the miracles every day. About ted, we have stopped teaching him because his wife said she would divorce him if we continued and so he asked us to stop coming by. It is sad when this happenes because i know that they need this gospel so much in their lives but they cant see it.
Ya well we have been teaching this mother and her daughter. They are so awesome. The mom is like 60 and her daughter is like 40. the mom has 2 other daughters who are really having a hard time and they are doing drugs and all these things but they said they cant put the book of mormon down because of “this feeling” they get every time they read it. Its so cool. So we put a baptisimal date with them. They will be baptised hopefully in a month but we are having trouble getting them to church. So many people here are just lazy so they know it is true but they dont want to do anything about it. So we will see how that goes.
I hope this email works because the email site has been having a hard time today and it keeps shutting down and stuff. I will try my hardest to get this too ya. About the cd, ya i do have something i can use to play cds so if she wants to she can send me something. Tell gma and gpa hall and elaine i love them. Tell gma lam and tracy and sham i love them too.
Sorry i dont really know what to say in this email. This week has been really hard. 2 days ago we had the whole day planned with planned and everything. And everything fell through. Not one person let us in the whole day and we didnt get one contact. Usually we will get at least 5 or 6 a day but we couldnt get one. It was a hard day. And yesterday was a lot like it. But i think that the lord is just getting us ready for a huge miracle.
Oh ya, so 3 days ago we had our first service project. We helped a member move to a different house. This was a family of 5. it took us about 2 hours to take all their stuff down 4 floors of stairs, packed into a truck, and unpacked in the new house. 2 hours... i remembered the last house i helped move when i was at home and it probably took 2 days. We are so spoiled in the us and i realized that. But the people here are so strong so it is amazing.
Anyways keep me updated on everything. Oh did justin get his mission call yet? Anything exciting goin on? i better be goin but i love you guys so much. You guys are awesome. Keep praying for me and if you could pray for a investagator we have named mario. He is having trouble with the word of wisdom. Anyways your all awesome. The church is true.
